Overview

In 2018, 14 of every 100 US adults were identified smokers.1 Tobacco smoking remains the leading cause of preventable death and disease in the United States. Quitting tobacco benefits your health and those around you. Quitting smoking reduces the risk of developing smoking-related diseases such as asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), vision loss and blindness, and stroke.

As part of our commitment to providing quality care to our patients, pharmacists at Kroger Health can now help you quit tobacco products, including prescribing medications and providing lifestyle support in all Indiana and Idaho pharmacies. Your Kroger Health pharmacist will review tobacco cessation medication options and work with you to select an effective quit plan that best fits your lifestyle. Our pharmacists will also follow up with you on your journey to quit tobacco and ensure the best health for you and your family.

Contact your pharmacy for additional details. Walk-ins are welcome. For appointments, call 1-877-444-9689, or schedule your visit online.
